Conveyancing is a fast paced industry and it is important to retain a solicitor who maintains a sound understanding of the ins and outs of buying or selling a house, unit, or block of land.

With the new changes coming into effect as and from 1 July 2017, first home buyers in NSW now have the First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme available to them. This scheme provides first home buyers with:

  • financial assistance for first home buyers purchasing a vacant block of land; or

  • financial assistance for first home buyers purchasing an existing, pre-loved home.

It is important to understand the difference in the assistance available to enable you to get the most bang for your buck.

As first home buyers in NSW, you may be entitled to not only a concession or exemption from paying stamp duty, but also a grant of $10,000 when purchasing your first home or block of land.

We are dedicated to helping you understand how the changes work, and how you can best use them to your advantage.

We look forward to helping our first home buyers get their foot in the property market.
